The route consists of two core paths 358 and 359 – see map of the Clarty Path.
This was an aspirational route back in 2010 when the Core Paths plan was first put together. But is now a reality! The Morhambank to Morham section was cleared by volunteers at a team task in October 2014. The remaining section from Gifford (Furniture School) to Morhambank was completed in stages in 2015.
