Sometimes we forget working and just go to the pub. Or for a walk. Or a talk. Not just by ourselves, but as a group. Some of these are for pure fun, others might have a training element to them (but are also fun!) In the past we have held a workshop on dragonflies; a talk on seabirds; a tour of a local walled garden; had first aid training; competed in a pub quiz; enjoyed a boat trip in the Forth... the list goes on! Details of some upcoming events are listed here.
If you are able to offer any training or experience you think volunteers would like, or if there are any events you would like to see happen please email Katty with your suggestions.

Nature Study Group
Two volunteers have started an East Lothian Nature Study Group. This involves a monthly programme of talks with invited speakers, on a Thursday at 4:30pm in Haddington. Some of the talks have follow-up sessions in the field, usually at the weekend. Everybody is welcome. Please visit the Nature Study Group website for more details.
